French Terry fabric
Looped-back terry that stays breathable and keeps its shape.
Overview
French Terry from development to delivery
French terry is smooth on the outside and looped on the inside. The loops make it absorbent and breathable, and it sits lighter than fleece, which suits year-round sweatshirts, joggers and loungewear.
We develop French terry in cotton and blends, with loops left natural or brushed, and finish it for the feel your brand wants. Shrinkage is controlled before cutting so garments hold their size after washing.

FAQ
French Terry questions
Is French terry warm enough for winter?
It suits mild to cool weather and layering. For maximum warmth, a brushed fleece is the better choice, and we can advise which suits your range.
Can French terry be brushed?
Yes. The looped back can be brushed for a softer, warmer feel.
